| Meet our Leaders |
| The women above were brave enough to participate in our first ever Women Build Leadership Program. This program was developed to create a place for women to step up into a leadership role on the build site. Having been on previous builds, they were invited to participate in what hopefully will be the first of many educational programs offered by our affiliate. In addition to previous site experience these ladies attended three all day classes to further their skills and knowledge in: Leadership Site Supervision Building Science Women Build Mission The classes included a classroom educational experience as well as hands-on training in how to lead specific building tasks. These ladies have taken these skills to the work site and have shown that they have what it takes to be true leaders. Their participation in this program has been of great benefit to both the volunteers and our affiliate. Keep up the good work ladies!! |
